I am a property owner from Vancouver BC. My partner and me arrived to Windsor at high days of that marked when automakers across the river collapsed and Windsor went nearly bankrupt. It was cheap and we purchased a lot w/o thinking how to manage it across the Canada.We learned hard way that there are very few PMs one can hire in Windsor that are trustworthy. As soon as they realize you are far away and can’t come over on the whim to check what is really going on weird stuff started happening. We were robbed, scammed, ridiculed, taken to court, put against all kind of city inspectors…etc..all by our very PMs we actually hired to protect our interest. Over several years we paid for enormous amount of unnecessary work as well for a work never done nor there was a need for it to be done in the first place. It cost us endless sleepless nights and daily invoice payments.In addition, quality of tenants was below any reasonable level.
